
Jaime Leija
President, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Jaime Leija co-founded BioLab Holdings and serves as President & Chief Executive Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in sales leadership, marketing, and operations. Prior to BioLab, Mr. Leija held the position of Region Vice President of Sales for IKON Office Solutions, AOT-Xerox, and Advance Laboratory Consultants. Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Leija is passionate about youth sports and their role in shaping the lives of young people. Together with his wife and family, Mr. Leija runs a non-profit organization, The Competitive Youth Sports Foundation of Arizona, which helps low to moderate-income families have access to sports teams, camps, and equipment. Mr. Leija is also actively involved with his alma mater, Arizona State University where he serves as a member of the Sales and Advisory Council for the Professional Sales Program and mentors college students aspiring for careers in Professional Sales and Marketing. In 2025, Mr. Leija was recognized by AZ Big Media as part of the AZ Big 100: 50 Arizona Business Leaders to Watch in 2025. Mr. Leija and Bob Maguire were listed as award winners on ASU's 100 list in the years 2023 and 2025, and were #1 in 2023. Additionally, both were honored with the 2025 Ernst and Young (EY) Entrepreneurs of the Year Award for the Pacific Southwest.

Carlos Encinas, PhD
Chief Science Officer
Carlos Encinas, Ph.D. serves as Chief Science Officer, bringing 20 years of experience in technology transfer, identifying, protecting and commercializing inventions developed at academic and private research centers. Prior to BioLab, Dr. Encinas managed early-stage technology-based companies and represented these centers at an international level, primarily in Europe and South America.
Dr. Encinas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology Engineering from the Technology Institute of Sonora, an MBA in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Arizona.

Scott Swonger
Chief Transformation Officer
Scott Swonger serves as Chief Transformation Officer, bringing over 40 years of experience as a financial management leader for health, technology and environmental companies. Prior to BioLab, Mr. Swonger held executive-level finance positions in highly regulated, hyper-growth industries. Mr. Swonger has successfully completed dozens of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in a variety of these service and manufacturing entities.
Mr. Swonger holds a B.S. in Business Administration and International Finance from Miami University.

Marshall Medley DO, FACOS, CWS-P
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Marshall Medley serves as Chief Medical Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in vascular surgery and treatment of acute and chronic wounds. Dr. Medley’s surgical experience has exposed him to many different wounds and wound pathologies. Prior BioLab Holdings, Dr. Medley has served as a medical director for two different wound care and hyperbaric oxygen centers over his career. Dr. Medley was in private and employed practice in vascular surgery and wound care in several hospitals in southeast Michigan.

Marty Kuser
Chief Commercialization Officer
Marty Kuser serves as Chief Commercialization Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience in the medical device sector, with an additional 15 years in sales leadership, and 10 years dedicated to human tissue and regenerative medicine. Prior to BioLab, Mr. Kuser was the Vice President of Sales at Aziyo Biologics, and has held leadership positions at Xtant Medical, Bone Bank Allografts, and multiple medical device companies.
Mr. Kuser holds a BBA in Marketing from Loyola University of Maryland.

Sean Ekins
Chief Financial Officer
Sean Ekins serves as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in technology, high-tech manufacturing and entertainment industries. Over the course of his career, Mr. Ekins has demonstrated expertise across all aspects of management and operational accounting, inclusive of SEC and financial reporting, systems analysis and implementation, and team development. Mr. Ekins joined AVITA Medical in 2023 as the Senior Vice President of Finance and later served as the interim Chief Financial Officer. Before joining AVITA Medical, Mr. Ekins served as the North American Controller for IXIA, a test, visibility, and security solutions provider, where he led all accounting operations, including the transition and successful integration into Keysight Technologies following the company’s acquisition. Previously, Mr. Ekins held accounting positions with The Walt Disney Company, Countrywide Financial Corporation, and 3D Systems, Inc.
Mr. Ekins is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.

Hernan Lopez
Chief Operations Officer
Hernan Lopez serves as Chief Operations Officer, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience in the medical device and biotechnology industries. Prior to joining BioLab, Mr. Lopez served as a key executive for early-stage startups and hyper-growth companies across diagnostics, oncology, and aesthetics. Mr. Lopez was Executive Vice President of Operations at GT Medical Technologies, where he helped secure FDA clearances, lead commercialization of GammaTile™ Therapy for brain tumor treatment, and played a central role in fundraising and M&A activities. Mr. Lopez's career also includes senior leadership at Ulthera, a high-growth aesthetics company acquired for $600 million, and technical leadership at Boston Scientific.
Mr. Lopez has also served as a mentor to startups through Parallel18 and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Arizona.
Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.

Dixon Terry
Chief Compliance Officer
Dixon Terry serves as Chief Compliance Officer, bringing 30 years of leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical and medical device industry in both start-up and mid to large size companies. Prior to joining BioLab, Mr. Terry spent a majority of his career at Amgen, leading teams across multiple functions including clinical development, sales and compliance. In addition, Mr. Terry has led compliance functions at start-up biopharma companies and managed compliance programs both in the U.S. and global markets including management of Corporate Integrity Agreements.
Mr. Terry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mississippi State University and a Master’s in Public Health from UCLA.

Deanna Montrose
Chief Innovation Officer
Deanna Montrose serves as Chief Innovation Officer, bringing a career rooted in hands-on expertise, entrepreneurship, and product innovation. As a nationally recognized cosmetologist and founder of award-winning salons and day spas, Mrs. Montrose spent over two decades at the intersection of beauty and therapeutic care. Prior to BioLab, Mrs. Montrose launched startups, raised capital, achieved successful exits, and developed patented solutions in paraffin wax therapy that helped transform the market—making pain relief more accessible and reducing reliance on NSAIDs. These products earned a spot on Oprah’s O-List and were successfully sold on national television, further validating their impact and reach.

Klint Price
Chief Technology Officer
Klint Price serves as Chief Technology Officer, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience in information technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. He has led enterprise-wide modernization and enablement initiatives across software development, data and AI, ERP, CRM, and cloud platforms, while successfully guiding organizations through high growth, M&A integration, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Price holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Utah State University and has volunteered for more than 15 years with faith-based youth groups.

Chris Silvers
Vice President of Quality Assurance
Chris Silvers serves as Vice President of Quality, bringing 25 years of experience in the medical device, biologics and life sciences industries as a seasoned executive in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Operations. Mr. Silvers has been marked by leading global teams and managing complex product portfolios through all stages of the product lifecycle from R&D and design control to global commercialization. Mr. Silvers recent roles have driven international regulatory strategies and quality system improvements that supported rapid market growth and product innovation. Mr. Silvers has led cross-functional initiatives in manufacturing quality, product development, and compliance readiness, including successful FDA and international audits. Mr. Silvers strengths lie in building scalable, compliant systems that enable innovation, mitigate risk, and align with business goals.

Alison Nielson
Vice President of Human Resources
Alison Nielson serves as Vice President of Human Resources, bringing more than two decades of experience leading teams and driving internal growth, with a unique blend of operational and HR expertise. Mrs. Nielson has led the development of BioLab’s HR strategy — including talent acquisition, performance development, and culture. Mrs. Nielson blends operational excellence with a people-first mindset and is focused on building the infrastructure that enables BioLab to scale with intention. Mrs. Nielson believes that investing in people is the key to lasting impact — for employees, for the company, and for the customers and patients BioLab serves.
